U.S. wheat futures rose more than 0.5 percent on Monday, gaining for the first time in three sessions, as concerns over dry weather curbing supplies of high protein hard red wheat supported prices.
The most active wheat futures on the Chicago Board Of Trade rose 0.7 percent to $3.97-1/2 a bushel, having closed down 0.3 percent on Friday.
The most active soybean futures were unchanged at$9.56-3/4 a bushel, having closed down 0.2 percent on Friday.
The most active corn futures rose 0.2 percent to $3.40-1/4, having fallen 0.2 percent in the previous session.
Wheat draws support on concerns about dry weather impacting U.S. hard red production.
