KARAK: Provincial general secretary of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Rehmat Salam Khattak inaugurated a new power generator in Gurguri power grid station, completed at a cost of Rs70 million to overcome the low voltage problem in the area.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, he claimed that mega projects were being completed by the PML-N government in the province. He said the PML-N-led government would overcome the power loadshedding issue till 2018 and asked the people to stop stealing electricity. He said loadshedding could be minimised if people paid their monthly bills.
He said that provision of basic facilities to the masses was the prime responsibility of the elected representatives and alleged that they have miserably failed to resolve the issues of people despite having huge funds of oil and gas royalty.
He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would visit Karak in November and would approve all important projects for the district.On the occasion, the PML-N district president Rasool Khan also addressed the ceremony.
