Minister inspects uplift projects

HAFIZABAD: State Minister for National Health Services Regulation and Coordination Saira Afzal Tarrar Saturday inspected ongoing development schemes in the city.
Talking to reporters, the minister said the current present government was utilizing all available resources to provide amenities of life to the people at their doorstep. District Coordination Officer (DCO) Muhammad Ali Randhawa and officers of other departments also accompanied her. She said the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a proof of confidence on the policies of the present government, saying the mega project would benefit the region tremendously.
Earlier, she was briefed on sewerage scheme of eastern side of the city that is being completed with Rs 220 million. The minister also visited the Centre of Excellence School for Women and other schools and urged teachers to perform their duties with dedication and commitment and focus on character building of students with quality education.
