LAHORE: Chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif visited the Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) Headquarters in Lahore on Friday.He was briefed by DG Rangers Maj Gen Umar Farooq Burki on the operational preparedness of the force.
Talking to the officers and soldiers of Punjab Rangers, Gen Raheel Sharif appreciated the high state of morale, operational preparedness and vigilance being maintained by troops along the Working Boundary and the international border.
The COAS also laid a floral wreath at the Shuhada memorial to pay homage to Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) martyrs who made supreme sacrifices for the defence of the motherland.Earlier, on arrival, the army chief was received by Lieutenant General Sadiq Ali, Commander Lahore Corps.
