Honda Atlas Cars organises ‘Vendor Conference’
Lahore: With the aim of “Driving to Excellence” Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Ltd. held its “Annual Vendor Conference, 2016” on 4th October at Faletti’s Hotel, Lahore. President/CEO Mr. Toichi Ishiyama with the management attended the event. Mr. Kenichi Matsuo Vice President Production gave the welcome address. He praised HACPL for their efforts in localization expansion. He said that recently launched all new Civic 2016 was an evidence of HACPL’s sincere commitment to localization.
Topics under discussion at the conference were Current status of localization, Future localization strategy, Ongoing Honda Good practices, Environment improvement activities and Honda quality culture implementation.
One of the main highlights of the conference was the expansion of localization in near future. HACPL is stepping ahead for more localization especially focusing on hot stamping & functional parts which include High tech parts localization. As a joint activity, HACPL will work on enhancing and transferring knowledge and expertise to the local vendors.
