Carpet exhibition today
LAHORE: Over 134 foreign buyers and delegates have confirmed to visit the 34th Pakistan International Handmade Carpet Exhibition being held by the Pakistan Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PCMEA) in Lahore on Thursday.
Provincial Industries Minister Chaudhry Shafique will cut the ribbon to mark the opening of the annual exhibition, while Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif will chair the awards distribution ceremony to be held on Friday evening.
PCMEA Chairman Usman Ghani said that this year the carpet show is going to be the largest showcase of Pakistan's handmade carpets.
The event will be visited by a large number of buyers from across the world, while over 62 national manufacturers will display their products in the exhibition.
