Belarusian Language Chair opened at NUML

Minister for Education of the Republic of Belarus Dr. Mikhail A Zhuravkov inaugurated the Belarusian Language & Culture Chair here on Monday at National University of Modern Languages (NUML), says a press release.

NUML Rector Major General Zia Ud Din Najam (retd), Higher Education Commission Executive Director Dr. Arshed Ali, NUML Director General Brig Riaz Ahmed Gondal, the deans, registrar and directors were also present on the occasion. 

Speaking on the occasion Belarus Minister Dr. Mikhail A Zhuravkov said that establishment of Belarusian Language Chair in NUML will help in promoting bilateral ties between Belarus and Pakistan by bringing the two nations together through the language, culture and understanding. He said that both the countries are developing close relations at a very fast track and the field of education will bring the youth and scholars together to work for progress of their countries.

NUML Rector Major General Zia Ud Din Najam, while expressing his views said that NUML is the first university of Pakistan to establish concrete relations with Minsk State Linguistic University (MSLU) Belarus through establishing Belarusian Language Chair in NUML. He further said that MoU has been signed between two universities in terms of collaborations and an Urdu Language Chair will also be established at Minsk State Linguistic University soon to further strengthen the relations.
