Muharram moon sighted

KARACHI: The Muharram-ul-Haram moon was sighted on Sunday, hence the first of Muharram falls on Monday (October 3). This was announced by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee’s chief Mufti Munibur Rehman.The moon-sighting meeting of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee held here at the building of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) was attended among others by members of the committee.
