‘World Tourism Day’ is celebrated across the world on September 27 to promote tourism. In Pakistan, political and economic instabilities have affected tourism spots badly. In 2015, only 5,634 foreign tourists visited Pakistan.
Pakistan must organise healthy activities to promote tourism. Last week, the tourism department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa held a jeep rally from Peshawar to Nowshera. The country needs such activities to promote a positive image globally.
