Playing football in Balochistan

The District Football Association (DFA) Gwadar is working tirelessly to promote football in the region. Many local, national, and provincial tournaments have been organised by the DFA. The All Pakistan Football Champion League held last year was also won by Gwadar.

Gwadar’s Wajid Sahir is called ‘Ronaldo of Makran’ because of his incredible skills and performances. Another player, Mehboob Rehmani, has also won the ‘best player of the tournament’ award in the recently held national level champion league. It is a request to the concerned authorities to help the DFA encourage a sports culture in the province.
