PHF secretary visits Bangladesh

KARACHI: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) secretary Shahbaz Ahmed reached Bangladesh on Tuesday.
During the visit the PHF secretary will discuss the possibility of Pakistan-Bangladesh series in near future, ‘The News’ has learnt.
Sources said that Shahbaz would invite Bangladesh national team to visit Pakistan and play a series with Pakistan.
Pakistan’s national Under 18 hockey team is currently visiting Bangladesh and playing Asia Cup Under-18 Hockey Championship.
The PHF is striving to revive international hockey in Pakistan and has invited various Asian teams to visit Pakistan. Oman’s Under-18 team has visited Pakistan to play four matches with Pakistan Under-18s.
