Tributes paid to Imam Hussain (RA)

Speakers at a conference paid glowing tributes to Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and urged the Muslims to follow in his footsteps to salvage the declining grandeur and power of the Ummah. 

Aalmi Amn-e-Ittehad Council organised the International Imam Hussain (RA) Peace Conference on Tuesday. Allama Mushtaq Hussain Jafri chaired conference. Other speakers from all schools of thought included former chief justice of Iran, Ayatullah Hasan Raza Ghadiri, Hafiz Kazim Raza Naqvi, Karamt Abbas Haidri, Mufti Shabbir Anjum, Shakilur Rehman Nasir, Javed Akbar Saqi, Ms Shabnam Nagi, Hafiz Shoaib ur Rehman, Pir Saifullah Chishti, Allama Ziaur Rehman Farooqi, Akhtar Husain Qureshi, Shafiq Raza Qadri, Raza Abbas Naqvi, Pir Zubair Abid, Pir SA Jafri, Intizar Hussain Zanjani, Mufti Ashiq Hussain Shah and Ashfaq Haider Jafri.

The speakers stressed the need to highlight the glorious sacrifice which Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions offered at Karbala which served as a new lease of life for Islam. They said Imam Hussain (RA) taught the world to sacrifice everything for the crusade against oppression and injustice.
