Woman deprived of kidney fraudulently

OKARA: A woman was deprived of a kidney fraudulently.
Abida Ashraf of Chak 26/2L lived at a brick kiln along with her neighbour Sakhi and his wife Shamim Bibi. Sometime ago, Sakhi Muhammad told Abida that Mian Sohail and his brother Babar of Pindi Bhattian could get her some job if she went with them. To it, Abida went with them. They also helped her in issuance of her CNIC. Later, the accused took Abida to Lahore where they served her drug mixed cold drink, which made her senseless. When she regained consciousness, she found her left side of the body bandaged. The accused told her that she had suffered from appendicitis and an operation was conducted on her in a hospital in Islamabad by Dr Asif Zain, Dr Zahid, Dr Tausif and operation theater assistant Shahzad. Sadr police have registered a case against the accused for kidnapping and fraudulently depriving the woman of a kidney.

Iram quarreled with her husband Sarwar and went to her parents’ house. A few days ago, Sarwar brought her back after reconciliation. On Saturday, a quarrel again erupted between the couple. In a fit of frustration, Sarwar with his brother Haq Nawaz and others allegedly electrocuted his wife. Gogera police have registered a case and started investigation.
