In-laws kill woman for ‘abetting’ husband’s murder

HAFIZABAD: A widow was allegedly killed by her in-laws at Mohallah Mughalpura on Sunday.
Bushra Bibi’s husband Nasrullah was murdered at Khitay Shah village about four years ago. Bushra’s in-laws doubted that she was involved in the murder and it created a rift between Bushra and her in-laws. Later, Bushra with her seven children left the house of her in-laws and started living at Mohallah Mughalpura. On the day of the incident, Bushra was sleeping in her house when her in-laws Usman, Fazal Abbas, Babar and Mehdi Hassan came there and allegedly shot her dead. Police have registered a case and taken the body in custody.

A truck loaded with rice bags was on its way when five people intercepted it and abducted driver Altaf Hussain and conductor. Later, they released the driver and conductor and escaped with the truck. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
