Entry of 44 Ulema banned in Jhang

JHANG: Police have banned the entry of 44 Ulema in the district to ensure law and order during the month of Muharram.
They include: Maulana Aurangzeb Farooqi of Karachi, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hagqani of Shujabad, Maulana Dr Khadim Dhaloon of Khanewal, Qari Riaz Jhangvi of Toba Tek Singh, Maulana Alam Tariq of Chichawatni, Maulana Akram Tufani of Sargodha, Maulana Masoodur Rehman of Lahore, Maulana Kafayatullah of Dera Ismail Khan, Maulana Gulfam Hashmi of Multan, Zakir Najamul Hassan, Azhar Hussain Kazmi of Rawalpindi, Maulana Raja Nasir of Rawalpindi, Maulana Ghafraan of Rawalpindi, Maulana Muhammad Yousaf of Sargodha, Maulana Mulazim Hussain of Dunyapur, Maulana Shamshad Hussain of Sheikhupura and Maulana Abdul Rauf of Gujranwala.
Meanwhile, the district police PRO said that the DPO had also barred 17 Ulema from delivering speeches in the district during the month of Muharram.
