DCO orders completion of security plan

JHANG: District Coordination Officer Ghazi Amanullah Tuesday directed the police and other departments to complete security plan for Muharram.
In an official circular, the DCO said procession routes and timing of Majalis would be ensured with letter and spirit.
He said security of Chinese engineers and other foreigners will be boosted up during Muharram.
He said meetings of district peace committee, district intelligence committee and meeting of district emergency board will be held before the commencement of Muharram to extend religious harmony among religious personalities of all sects. The DCO said hate speeches and graffiti would not be allowed.
He ordered prior arrangements of generators at Majalis venues. He asked the EDO (Health) to submit the duty plan of doctors and paramedics for Muharram.
