Boys shine in DG Khan intermediate result

DERA GHAZI KHAN: The top two positions were bagged by boys in the DG Khan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education annual examinations 2016 here.
Announcing the result, Controller Examination Ch Mushtaq Ali said that 35,362 candidates appeared in eth exams and out of which 23,213 passed while the pass percentage remained as 65.64. According to the results, Muhammad Mubeen Javed, roll no 423755 of Government College Kot Addu, Muzaffargarh district, secured top opposition in the board by getting 1038 marks while Muhammad Noman Khan, roll no 405700 of Divisional Public School and College DG Khan bagged second slot with 1036 marks. The third position was secured by Shama Nosheen, roll no 403964 of Government College for Women, Muzaffargarh, with 1034 marks. In Pre-Medical Group of boys, Muhammad Noman bagged first position with getting 1036 marks while Muhammad Noman obtained second slot with 1032 marks while Muhammad Ahmad Qureshi, roll no 409365 of Sardar Kourey Khan Public Higher Secondary School Muzaffargarh and Noor Elahi, roll no 405970 of Government Postgraduate College DG Khan jointly secured third positions with 1029 marks each. In Pre-Medical Group of girls, Shama Nosheen secured first position with 1034 marks while Fariha Sohail, roll no 404010 of Sardar Kourey Khan Public Girls Higher Secondary School Muzaffargarh stood second with 1030 marks and Qudsia Erum, roll no 403496 of Liaqat Girls Higher Secondary School Kot Addu Muzaffargarh got third position with 1029 marks. In Pre-Engineering Group of boys, Muhammad Mubeen Javed grabbed first position while Muhammad Qasim, roll no 421240 of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission Higher Secondary DG Khan secured second position while Muhammad Noman Zafar, roll no 424195 of Government Postgraduate College Muzaffargarh obtained third position with 1038, 1029 and 1022 marks respectively. In Pre-Engineering Group of girls, Tayyaba Shabbir, roll no 420066 of Government College DG Khan bagged first slot with 999 marks while Iqra Maqsood, roll no 420656 of New Milat Public Girls Higher Secondary School Chowk Sarwar Shaheed Muzaffargarh obtained second position with 981 marks and Naima Sadiq, roll no 420165 of Government College for Women Model Town DG Khan bagged third position with 972 marks. In the Humanities and Commerce Group of boys, Tahir Raza, roll no 447165 of Princeton Boys Degree College Jatoi Muzaffargarh grabbed first position by getting 922 marks while Muhammad Jawad Qadir, roll no 447960 of Government College Muzaffargarh banged second slot with 906 marks and private candidate Muhammad Amir Shahzad, roll no 448260, obtained third position with 903 marks. In Humanities and Commerce Group of girls, Sumera Maqsood, roll no 440413 of Government College for Women DG Khan grabbed first position with 931 marks while Tehmina Batool, roll no 443508 of Government College for Women Muzaffargarh bagged second slot by getting 929 marks and Sidra Mazari, roll no 444695 of Government College for Women Rajanpur obtained third slot by securing 928 marks.
