LHC donates Rs8.9m to Quetta attack victims

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has donated Rs8.9 million to families of the Quetta suicide attack martyrs.
LHC Registrar Khurshid Anwar Rizvi handed over a cheque to Baluchistan High Court Chief Justice Muhammad Noor Meskanzai. Judges, officers and other staff of the LHC had contributed to a fund established by Chief Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah for the victims of the carnage.
At least 70 people were killed in the suicide attack on Quetta Civil Hospital. A majority of them was lawyers.
