2 bikers killed, 5 hurt in Jhang accident

JHANG: Two motorcyclists were killed while three others sustained injuries in a road accident near Shah Mahi Pull here on Friday.
Two speeding motorcycles collided with each other on Shorkot-Multan Road and came under a trailer coming from opposite side. As a result, Noor Muhammad and Mujeeb died on the spot while Shamim Bibi, Pervesha and Adnan sustained serious injuries and were shifted to the THQ Hospital, Shorkot.
BODY OF DROWNED GIRL RECOVERED: The Rescue 1122 workers on Friday recovered the dead body of a girl who had drowned in River Jhelum in Kot Shakir area two days ago.
Rukhsana, 15, and Samreen, 14, had drowned in the river two days ago while taking bath. Later, Rescue 1122 divers rushed to the site and started searching the both girls. After two days struggle, rescuers recovered the dead body of Rukhsana and handed over to her family. The rescue operation was in progress to recover the dead body of Samreen till the filing of this report.
