DASKA: A woman and her son thrashed a woman and tore her clothes in the area of Sadr police.
Nasreen Bibi was present at her home when accused Irshad Bibi and her son Awais entered the house and thrashed her over a petty issue.
POWER THEFT CASE: City police Friday registered a case against a man on charges of stealing electricity. SDO sub-division No 1 raided and found accused Yaseen of Sambrial Road busy in steeling electricity. The SDO handed over the accused to police.
VALUABLES SNATCHED: Locals were deprived of cash and valuables on Friday. Maqsood Ahmed was riding his motorcycle when robbers intercepted him and snatched Rs 10,000, a cell phone and motorcycle.
SUICIDE BID: A married woman attempted suicide in the city area over a domestic issue in Daska. The woman used to quarrel with her in-laws and on the day of the incident she took poisonous pills and was shifted to the Civil Hospital.
