PTI submits resolution against honour killing in PA
LAHORE
PTI legislator Sibtain Khan Thursday submitted a resolution in Punjab Assembly about increasing cases of honour killings in the province.
Voicing concern over the incidents, Sibtain Khan from Mianwali said during the last five years, 1,850 people were killed in the name of honour in Punjab. He said the rising incidents of honour killing was a matter of great concern and demanded the government take measures to prevent the incidents. Sibtain Khan also submitted a resolution about lack of health facilities in government hospitals and demanded the government overcome these shortages.
