SUKKUR: The Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah, while talking to reporters here, said the Nawaz Sharif government must review the foreign policy of the country after having taken all the political stakeholders into confidence.
He said this was the right time for Mian Nawaz Sharif to review the foreign policy.
Khursheed Shah hoped that the prime minister would refer to the Kashmir issue during his address at the UN General Assembly session.
He accused the PML-N government of having stopped work on the Bhasha Dam project which had been initiated by the former PPP government. Condemning the economic policies of the government, Khursheed Shah said the government had made the life of the labourers so difficult that they had started committing suicide.
He also accused the government of victimizing PPP legislators.
Khursheed Shah said that the Sindh government had released Rs200 million for rehabilitating special people in Sukkur.
