Court declares main accused PO, acquits bus owner, MVE

FAISALABAD: The Anti-Corruption special judge on Wednesday declared the main accused in Kalar Kahar bus tragedy Seeduz Zaman proclaimed offender (PO) and acquitted bus owner Samiullah Khan and Motor Vehicle Examiner (MVE) Liaqat Buland Khan, giving them the benefit of the doubt.
This tragic incident took place about five years ago near Kalar Kahar when a bus carrying students and teachers of a private school met an accident on way back to Faisalabad after an excursion trip from Islamabad, killing 33 students, two teachers and bus driver.
