FAISALABAD: The knowledge-based textile sector has become imperative to maintain the inherent edge of textile sector in the international markets, said Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) president Chaudhry Muhammad Nawaz.
Talking to students during his visit to the National Textile University (NTU) here on Monday, he said that decline in textile exports was a matter of concern and in this connection the younger generation must exploit their mental and create faculties to maintain the supremacy of Pakistani textile with their innovative products. He said that the students of the NTU should be fully aware of the international trends in their respective fields so that they could cater to the needs of the potential buyers, particularly from the developed countries.
