ISLAMABAD: The heads of major allies of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) in Balochistan Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo (National Party) and Mahmud Khan Achakzai (PkMAP) held meetings with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif separately here at the PM House. Mir Hasil met the prime minister on Thursday while Achakzai called on him a day earlier. It is understood that the two had discussions on the political developments across the country with special reference to the upcoming changes in Balochistan.
Highly-placed political sources told The News that the meetings focused on efforts for progress and developments in Balochistan where the law and order situation is returning to normal at a fast pace. The leadership appreciated the efforts of the law enforcement agencies in curbing the insurgency.
