SUKKUR: A bandit was killed in an encounter with the Mirpurkhas police. The SSP of Mirpurkhas, Usman Ghani Siddiqi, said that the police challenged a gang of bandits when they were attempting to loot some passengers. He said that the bandits opened fire on police. The police returned fire in which one of the bandits, Ali Murad Rind, was killed.
