2 banks closed for not adopting security measures

GUJRANWALA: Model Town police on Monday closed two banks for not adopting adequate security measures here.
The police sources told that in one bank one guard was performing duty without any rifle while in the other bank no guard was present. The police have asked the banks administration to adopt necessary security arrangements.
ARMS SEIZED: Model Town police have seized 100 rifles and 40,000 rounds during a campaign against illegal arms here.
The police conducted various raids and seized rifles and bullets from the shops of arms dealers for not having arms licenses. The police have registered separate cases.
3 INJURED IN ACCIDENT: Three people were injured in an accident at Mor Emenabad on Monday.
A speeding rickshaw hit a motorcycle. As a result, a youth and two children were injured. Later, people caught the rickshaw driver and beat him for rash driving.
