ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali on Saturday presided over a meeting of Al-Mizan Foundation, a welfare body of Pakistan judiciary, at the Supreme Court.
The meeting was attended by Justice Riaz Ahmad Khan, Chief Justice Federal Shariat Court, Justice Muhammad Anwar Khan Kasi, Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Muhammad Noor Meskanzai, Chief Justice Balochistan High Court Justice Sajjad Ali Shah, Chief Justice High Court of Sindh Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice (Retd) Ali Hussain Qazalbash, Justice (retd) Abdul Hafeez Cheema, Justice (retd) Abdul Ghani Sheikh, Justice (retd) Muhammad Azam Khan and Justice (retd) Fazal Rehman.
CJ Anwar Zaheer Jamali welcomed the participants of the meeting and offered Fateha for the martyrs of Quetta bomb blast incident and expressed heartfelt condolence and sympathies with the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity.
The meeting was briefed about the functioning and object of Al-Mizan Foundation, set up to establish and run the organisations’ institutions and projects for the welfare of retired and serving employees and judges except serving judges of superior courts.
They also discussed different administrative issues relating to functioning of the foundation and expressed their satisfaction over the working of the foundation.
