Three commit, four attempt suicide in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: Three people committed and four others attempted suicide in different incidents here on Friday.
In the first incident, Muhammad Mohsin of Green Town ended his life by swallowing poisonous pills over a domestic dispute. In the second incident, Aqeel Ahmad of Chak 255/RB ended his life by swallowing poisonous pills over a domestic dispute. In the third incident, Moinuddin of Chak 202/JB, Bhowana, committed suicide by stabbing himself. Meanwhile, Simra of Chak 175/RB, Kashaf of Muhammadnagar, Qaisar of Farooqabad and Nadeem of Barkatpura attempted suicide by consuming poison. The motive behind the incidents is said to be domestic disputes.
Doctor among two killed over litigation

FAISALABAD: Two people, including a doctor, were killed over litigation at Batala Colony.
Dr Sohail Haroon was a litigant in the divorce case of his niece Afshan. On Thursday night, two assailants, including Shan Yaqoob, allegedly opened fire on Sohail. As a result, Sohail was killed on the spot. Shan, one of the two accused, was also killed in the attack. Police are investigating.
