MANSEHRA: Distributing laptops among students, Higher Education Commission Chairman Dr Mukhtar Ahmed on Thursday said a digital library project had been launched, which would ensure online access of students to a huge treasury of text journals and text books in the country.
“We have recently initiated the digital library project which would ensure free of cost online accessibility of students even from remotest parts of the country to 12,000 journals and 200,000 text books,” Dr Mukhtar told a gathering of the students, researchers and faculty at Hazara University (HU) here.
The ceremony was held in connection with distribution of laptops among male and female students under Prime Minister’s National Laptop Scheme phase-II.
