The lawyers took out the rally from the District Courts and chanted slogans against MQM chief Altaf Hussain for delivering hate speech, chanting slogans against Pakistan and enticing people for violence. They also burnt effigy of Altaf Hussain in protest. They demanded the government impose complete ban on the MQM. Meanwhile, the Multan District Bar Association organised a conference against Altaf Hussain’s hate speech and demanding the government trial Altaf Hussain. “It is the time for the government to take action against Altaf Hussain in the light of his hater speech”, the lawyers demanded. Meanwhile, the business community of the Southern Punjab also strongly condemned the provocative anti-Pakistan statement of MQM chief Altaf Hussain and demanded strict action against the people involved in the attacks on media houses.
