GUJRANWALA: Dozens of people staged a demonstration against Satellite Town police in front of the CPO Office here on Monday.
They also staged a sit-in to register their protest against the alleged police failure to recover a missing student.
The protesters said that class 9 student Nafeesur Rehman, son of Income Tax Inspector Ubaidur Rehman, went to the school four days ago but did not return.
In the meantime, police high-ups reached the spot and assured the protesters of soon recovering the student.
GEPCO STAFFERS STRIKE: The strike of the Gepco officials against the chief executive officer entered the sixth day here on Monday.
The Gepco employees were on strike against the appointment of Zafar Abbasi as the chief executive officers. They vowed to continue the protest till the removal of the CEO.
