AML chief links country’s success to Nawaz removal
From Our Correspondent
GUJRANWALA: Awami Muslim League president Sheikh Rashid has said that the AML and PAT will not let the corrupt leaders be in power.
Addressing a press conference here, he criticised Sharif family for being involved in the Panama scandal. He said that the government was not doing anything for the masses. He said: “Getting rid of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is the key to Pakistan’s success as he is incompetent, visionless and lacks leadership skills”. He said that 2016 would be the last year of the PML-N in power.
Sheikh Rashid said that the names of alleged corrupt ministers of the PML-N, including Khawaja Asif, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Abid Sher Ali and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, should be included in the ECL as they were trying to flee abroad with their families. The AML president praised COAS Gen Raheel Sharif for taking action against corruption.
