Multan reclaim ICRC National Disabled T20 title

KARACHI: Multan overpowered Peshawar by 35 runs in the summit clash to retain the title of ICRC National Disabled T20 Cricket Championship 2016 at Asghar Ali Shah Stadium here on Friday night.
Multan skipper Matloob Qureshi won the toss and decided to bat first. Multan were all out for 98 runs in 20 overs. Zubair Saleem was the top scorer with 29 runs off 30 balls. Gohar Ali captured three wickets, while Fayyaz Ahmed and captain Nihar Alam took two each.
Peshawar were bundled out in their turn for a paltry total of 63 in 17.5 overs. Opener Hayat Khan was the only batsman to put up some resistance, scoring 33 off as many balls. Jahanzeb Tiwana grabbed three wickets. Zubair Saleem, Mohammad Asif and Umaiz-ur-Rehman took two wickets each.
