Assailant dies after falling from wall

OKARA: An assailant died when he jumped from a wall of a quarter after inflicting injuries to a man with a dagger on Thursday.
According to police, an unidentified armed intruder entered Central Benazir Avenue Railway Quarter of Muhammad Mansab Ali of Chak 60/D, Depalpur tehsil. The assailant inflicted injuries to Mansab and when he faced resistance he tried to flee and climbed the wall of the quarter and jumped down and died on the spot. The police shifted the body and injured Mansab to the DHQ Hospital.
Reportedly, a CNIC bearing name of Samina of Chak 13/1L, Okara tehsil, was recovered from the pocket of the attacker. The police are investigating.
