I-Day seminar calls for promoting national solidarity

FAISALABAD: Speakers of a seminar called for promoting national solidarity and fraternity.
A local technical institute arranged the seminar on Tuesday in connection with Independence Day. Director Colleges Rana Munawar Khan was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Rana said when we celebrate the I-Day, we actually make a vow with national enthusiasm to steer the country out of troubles. He urged the participants to promote the message of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah of work, work and more work. Shahnawaz said the I-Day is a commitment for renewing the pledge that we would make all-out efforts to make our country stronger and prosperous. He urged the countrymen to play their due role for the uplift of the country and to promote national solidarity, love and fraternity.
Chamber president Mian Mehmood said great nations celebrated their national days in a befitting way. He said we are a great nation in every respect and our talented youth would earn good name through hard work for the country.
Students also delivered speeches, sang national songs and presented other programmes relating to the I-Day.
