The launching ceremony of a book ‘Governance Deficit: A case study of Pakistan’ by Saeed Ahmad Qureshi, jointly organised by the SPDC and SPO, will be held tomorrow (Thursday), at Hill View Hotel, Jinnah Market, F-7 Markaz, at 5 p.m. sharp. Javed Jabbar will chair the session, says a press release. The writer has served for more than 30 years in various ministries and under many regimes including Bhutto, Benazir, Zia ul Haq and Nawaz Sharif. He retired as Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission and was Secretary General Finance before that. The book encapsulates the many insights and lessons learnt along the way.
