Dark streets

The citizens of Islamabad face street-light failure in the residential areas of G-6. The local street light inquiry controlled by the Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation has l failed to discharge its responsibility with the result that some streets have been dark for a month now. All efforts made so far to get these street lights back on have fallen flat.

This situation has led to many troubles for the residents of the area. This is a serious security issues and deserves to be attended by the municipal administration on priority basis. The IMC is requested to please look into this matter and take steps for repair/restoration of the street lights as soon as possible.
