Woman held for murdering nephew in Sialkot

SIALKOT: Police on Saturday arrested a woman for allegedly abducting and later murdering her four-year-old nephew over a marriage dispute here.
Reportedly, accused woman Pukhraj Bibi, a mother of five children, had contracted marriage with Jan Muhammad in exchange of the marriage of her brother Nadeem to the sister of her husband some years back. However, after developing some difference with her husband, Pukhraj Bibi had started living with her brother Muhammad Nadeem for many days at Heil Bajwah village. Later, accused woman started forcing her brother to leave his wife, the sister of her husband, in revenge but he refused to do so, which infuriated her. On the day of the incident, Pukhraj Bibi allegedly abducted Abdullah and locked him in a box where he allegedly died of suffocation on last Tuesday. Later, she allegedly threw Abdullah’s body near his brother’s home. Later, the child’s body was found and the police arrested the woman after registering a case against her.
TWO MISSING BOYS REACH HOMES: Two boys, who were missing for the last many days, reached their homes safely here on Saturday, police sources said.
Wahab Ahsan, (13), a resident of Hajipura Bund, left home four days ago for tuition academy but did not return. Hajipura police told that Wahab left home as he had some differences with his parents due to which he went to Lahore and stayed at a shrine. In the meantime, Lahore police arrested him and later sent him to Sialkot. In another incident, Mir Hassan, 14, s/o Shafiq of Irshadpura, left home after having differences with his father 25 days ago and reached Narang Mandi. Later, a citizen found him and after listening to his story, handed him over to the police to send him back to Sialkot.
