“The suspects hunted down by the law enforcement agencies were among those who were identified as planners and facilitators and the intelligence agencies were following them after they were marked as members of the outfit involved in the assassination of Shuja Khanzada,” the sources maintained, adding that the raid was kept secret and the local police and other law enforcement agencies were not informed about it.
“Qari Imradullah, Qari Irshad and Shaukat were marked as active members of the group responsible for the suicide attack at Shuja Khanzada’s house in his native village in Attock on August 17 this month,” the sources added.

The main suspect wanted to the CTD was Shaukat who was involved in other terrorism activities too, the sources added.
