PPP demands release of Hamid Saeed
Finalises convention at Multan on 26th

MULTAN: The PPP Human Rights Wing has demanded release of former religious affairs minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi and with drawl of cases registered against ex-PM Yousaf Raza Gilani.
It was demanded in the PPP South Punjab Human Rights Wing meeting held here on Wednesday. The meeting said that Hamid Saeed was arrested due to alleged politically victimisation. The meeting said that Hamid Saeed was arrested in Haj scandal case after registering allegedly fake cases. The meeting also finalised schedule for the PPP South Punjab Human Rights Wing convention to be held at Multan on August 26. Later, talking to journalists, PPP South Punjab HR Wing ex-president Saleemur Rahman Mayo alleged that fake corruption cases were registered against ex-PM Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani. He said that the PPP would resist the privatisation of the only Kidney Center at Multan. He criticised abduction of children in Punjab. The PPP leader said that all arrangements for the convention had been finalised and ex-PM Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, ex-Punjab governor Makhdoom Ahmad Mehmood, ex-MNA Mehmood Hayat Tochi Khan, Shaukat Basra, Khawaja Rizwan, Abdul Qadir Shaheen, Nawazish Ali Pirzada and members of the PPP South Coordination Committee would address the convention. He said that a strategy would be made in the convention on Panama Leaks, privatisation of public organisations and alleged victimisation of the PPP leaders.
