GUJRANWALA: A medical report has confirmed police torture on a man.
In a petition to Civil Judge Sardar Kamaluddin, Moon Masih of Noshera Sansi said that some policemen of Khiali police station entered his house on August 5. He said that the policemen took him to Ajmal Town police post where they allegedly tortured him. Later, police released him after receiving Rs 15,000 bribe from his father. To it, the civil judge ordered medical examination of the victim, which proved that police tortured the complainant.
Two injured by firing of PML-N leader’s gunman

GUJRANWALA: Two passersby were injured by the firing of the PML-N local leader’s gunman on Sialkot Road on Tuesday.
It was reported that PML-N leader Arif Jatt was on his way when a rickshaw collided with his car. To it, Khalid, gunman of Arif, allegedly started aerial firing. Resultantly, two passersby were injured. They were shifted to the DHQ Hospital. Civil Lines police have arrested the accused gunman and started investigation.
