FAISALABAD: Gojra police on Saturday arrested an alleged murderer here.

Accused Umar allegedly murdered Hammad Masih when he failed to commit sodomy with him at Chak 415/JB, Gojra. Later, the police arrested the accused after registering a case against him.

HOUSE LOOTED: A house was looted at Dhanowla on Friday night.

Three bandits entered the house of Dr Liaqat and looted cash and other valuables. Later, the dacoits also abducted the married daughter-in-law of Dr Liaqat.

 

Youth killed as two groups exchange fire

FAISALABAD: A youth was killed while another injured during crossfire between two rival groups at Chak 127/RB, Behlolepur, on Saturday.

According to details, two rival groups of the village, Muhammad Afzal and Najeeb, had a rivalry. On the day of the incident, both groups opened fire on each other. As a result, Shajar Abbas was killed on the spot while Ali Raza was seriously injured and shifted to a hospital.

 

Man kills married sister for ‘honour’

FAISALABAD: A man allegedly murdered his married sister for ‘honour’ at Chak 622/GB on Saturday.

Accused Muhammad Ishaq had doubted the character of his married sister Bakhtan Bibi. On the day of the incident, the accused murdered her and fled. Police have registered a case.
