role in Qandeel Baloch murder

MULTAN: The murder of Qandeel Baloch has become more complex as involvement of more persons, including her mother, is also suspected, police sources said on Wednesday.
The police sources said that it was being suspected that more family members of Qandeel Baloch helped the murder accused to kill her. The police investigator of the case did not rule out involvement of Qandeel’s mother in the case. The police teams conducting investigation of the case told The News that it was confirmed that Haq Nawaz helped prime accused Muhammad Waseem, brother of Qandeel, to murder her. The police informed The News that it was decided to shift Haq Nawaz to Lahore for polygraph test. Lady investigator inspector Atia Jafry told that Haq Nawaz would shift to Lahore for polygraph test soon after getting his physical remand. However, the police sources said that complainant Muhammad Azim concealed the presence of Haq Nawaz on murder night and he did not mention his name in the FIR. A senior police officer disagreed with the FIR contents and suspected that they would be amended during the police supplementary statements. The registered FIR contents show that the complainant allegedly tried to conceal involvement of Haq Nawaz in the case, he added. The complainant in the FIR said that his son allegedly strangled his daughter in the name of honor and he allegedly killed Qandeel for money. “Waseem killed my daughter on the instigation of my other son Muhammad Aslam Shaheen”, Azim claimed in the FIR. However, the police officials said that it was needed to change the police supplementary when the police had established involvement of more than one person in the murder.
