GUJRANWALA: Relatives of a kidnapped boy staged a demonstration against police for their alleged failure to recover him.
The protesters said that Muhammad Shahzad, 15, was kidnapped on June 11 and People’s Colony police registered an abduction case. They have demanded the CM and the police high-ups order police to recover the abductee.
FOUR REMANDED: Civil Judge Sohail Anjum on Tuesday sent four officers of the Highways Department to the jail on judicial remand in a corruption case. The ACE produced SE (retd) Kaleemullah, XEN (retd) Saadat Virk, overseer Khalid Cheema and divisional accounts officer before the judge and sought their physical remand. The judge rejected the physical remand and sent the accused to the jail on a judicial remand.
