Noman clinches Sindh Ranking Squash title
KARACHI: Noman Khan thrashed Abdul Basit in straight sets in the final of men’s singles event in Sindh Ranking Squash Tournament 2016 Circuit-1 at PSF-Jahangir Khan Squash Complex here on Sunday.
Noman took only 25 minutes to zap Abdul Basit and recorded a convincing 11-1 11-4 11-5 victory.
In Boys Under-11 climax, Ammar Ali dropped a set before beating Ghulam Mustafa by 11-6, 9-11, 12-10, 11-6 score in 28 minutes.
In Boys U15 final, third seed Rafi Khan stunned second seed Osama Zafar. Rafi took only 20 minutes to record a formidable 11-7, 11-7, 11-5 victory.
In Boys Under-19 final, unseeded Kabir Alam defeated fourth seed Talha Alam after a tough battle by 11-3, 11-8, 3-11, 9-11, 17-15 score in 37 minutes.
In Girls U15 summit clash, Fehmina trounced Alishba by 11-1, 11-0, 11-1 taking just 17 minutes.
