From Our Correspondent

BAHAWALPUR: Residents of Noorpura, Chishtian, staged a demonstration after the death of a youth due to the alleged absence of doctors at the THQ hospital on Friday.

The protesters raised slogans against the THQ hospital doctors and demanded action against them. They said that Ramzan (17) was brought to the hospital in an unconscious condition after he fell into a drain. Ramzan died unattended as there was no doctor on duty, they alleged.
