‘Steps on to help Fesco consumers’

FAISALABAD: Steps are being taken in customer services management, corporate governance and information technology to help consumers as well as employees of the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco).
This was stated by Fesco Board of Directors Chairman Khurram Mukhtar while presiding over a meeting at the Fesco Headquarters on Thursday. He said the board had adopted “right man for right job” policy as consumers and employees were top priority. The board has implemented the ERP (enter resource planning) for the first time in the company’s history, he added.
Earlier, the BoD approved minutes of 152/40th meeting and reviewed implementation on the decisions of the last meeting. The procurement plan for distribution material for 2016-17 was also approved. The approval was granted for implementation of the revised scales and allowances.
The meeting was also attended by Fesco CEO Rashid Ahmed Aslam, Hameed Chaudhry, Syed Zia Alamdar Bukhari, Javed Kamal, GM Operations Masood Salahuddin, Company Secretary Athar Ayub, Chief Financial Officer Zahid Hassan, CE P&D Sheikh Jehangir, Chief Commercial Officer Masood Iqabla and others.
