‘Fesco reduced 11.7pc line losses’

JHANG: Fesco Jhang Circle Manager Operations Bilal Irshad Tuesday claimed that the Fesco has reduced 11.7 per cent line losses during the year 2015-16 and earned appreciation.

Talking to reporters, Bilal said during the period deduction bills have been charged to consumers who were using tempered/ faulty electricity meters. Deputy Managers Operations Faisal Raza Marath and Syed Saleem Shah were also present during the briefing.

Bilal said Rs 260.87 million surcharges imposed on those who were involved in electricity stealing and Rs.188.87 million has been deposited in Fesco accounts.

He said Rs. 2789.99 million has also been recovered on account of regular monthly bills besides Rs 22.13 million from defaulters.

Bilal said all DMOs of the circle have been directed to ensure their control and command over their subordinates for proper attending consumer complaints specially about over billing, etc.

 

LRMIC OFFICER TRANSFERRED: The authorities of Punjab Board of Revenue Tuesday transferred Land Record Management and Information Centre Jhang in-charge Ashar Hameed to Pindi Bhattian on administration grounds.

According to sources, the new in-charge of LRMIC have been given task to get land record of urban areas computerised besides reducing public complaints.
