Pakistan is one of the few remaining countries in the world where polio is still categorised as an endemic viral infection. Hence, the initiation of polio eradication campaign in nine districts in Punjab is a good step as these areas are considered to be at greater risk to polio virus transmission.
The Punjab government is leaving no stone unturned to protect the future generations of Pakistan from this viral infection.
